Creating your Blog using Blogger.com

Ok, so let me start off by giving you instructions you need for setting up your own BLOG:

  1. Go to http://www.blogger.com/
  2. Click on "CREATE A BLOG"
  3. Follow the instructions to register your account.
  4. Once the account is setup, you will see a link to "Start Posting" which will take you to an editor where you can compile your first BLOG post!
  5. Now comes the hard part... coming up with a plan of what to blog!  :)  I suggest you take some time and create an outline of various topics you want to write articles (blogs) for in the next few days or weeks.  Then start working on writing them up!

Or you can watch this video that walks you through the process:
Ok, if you want to have a BLOG that you can easily update from anywhere - even your phone, then you need BLOGGER.com! I am sending this from my Blackberry!

Welcome to the Small Business Website Resource Blog!

Hello to the Small Business reader (or anyone) who is looking for help in creating a website presence that helps attract new clients, increase revenue and/or communications. This blog will be devoted to showing you methods of using a website to do all these things!

Here are the list of topics that I will be exploring in the next few weeks. I would like to start with an introductory list of tools that all Small Businesses should explore as a means to accomplish tasks within their company WITHOUT spending a great deal of money. The list includes:
  • Using Google GMail for your email system
  • Using Google Docs and other applications
  • Using Google Apps for Domains to host company email and Google Applications
  • Building a website for next to nothing
  • How to attract clients using Blogs
  • "Networking" on the Internet
And then I will also be discussing other general small business topics such as:
  • "How to work 'ON' your business instead of 'IN' your business" to build true wealth
  • How to give away everything in return for more business
  • Small Business and Personal Budgeting for Wealth
  • How to Hire the correct "team" to build your business
  • Ethics of Running a Business
  • and more...
Ok, that's all for now... I will be posting an article in the next few days about one of these topics... or it may be a surprise... :)

Wishing you Love, Happiness and Wealth!
